John R. Curran, MD
Dr Curran is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Gastroenterology. He graduated from Georgetown University and earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his medical internship at St Elizabeth’s Hospital Boston MA, his medical residency at the Veteran Administration Long Beach Healthcare System Long Beach CA and his gastroenterology fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital Providence RI.
Since 1987 Dr, Curran has been in private practice serving the Assabet Valley and Metro West communities. He is a an active staff at UMass Marlborough Hospital, Marlborough MA. Dr Curran is associate staff member at MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham MA.
Dr Curran is a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society, American Gastroenterological Association; the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy; the American College of Gastroenterology; and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America.
Dr Curran regards his time with patients as the most rewarding aspect of his medical practice. Dr Curran, his staff and his patients work together to make the decisions essential for good health and well-being.
